When you allow old ideas and behaviors to pass you find a renewed sense of self and an opportunity to grow into your full potential. I am an artist, born in Vancouver, I grew up in the Fraser Valley and in December of 2009 my husband and I relocated to the Roberts Creek on the Sunshine Coast of B.C. But after a few years of trying to settle into the coast we decided that the relaxed pace of the coast would be something we would come back to later in our lives and we are now re settled in Vancouver B.C. I am a painter, seamstress and costume designer. I have always been an artist. I began drawing at a very young age and started painting in my teens. I have a fascination with faces and I spent a few years throughout my twenties discovering my talents by drawing portraits of compelling people. I developed my skills with patience and a commitment of regular practice. This applies to my drawing and painting as well as my sewing and continues to be an on going process that gives me a great joy.
